Rated capacity: generally 30KVA~31500KVA, and transformers with higher capacity can also be customized as needed.
Rated voltage: Determined by the application and power level of the transformer, common voltage levels include 10kV, 35kV, etc.
Withstand voltage level: The transformer needs to withstand a certain voltage during normal operation. For this, the country has formulated different withstand voltage levels. Common withstand voltage levels include 35kV, 70kV, 110kV and 220kV.
Short-circuit impedance: Short-circuit impedance is one of the important parameters of the transformer. It indicates the ability of the transformer to withstand short-circuit current. Generally, the larger the short-circuit impedance, the stronger the short-circuit capacity of the transformer.
Temperature rise limit: The temperature rise limit is an important technical parameter of the dry-type transformer. It measures the temperature rise limit of the transformer during operation. Generally, the temperature rise is required not to exceed 110℃.
Insulation performance requirements: Since dry-type transformers do not use oil as an insulating medium, their insulation performance requirements are higher than those of oil-immersed transformers. The insulation performance requirements of dry-type transformers mainly include dielectric loss, discharge initial voltage and discharge peak value.
Low noise requirements: The noise generated by dry-type transformers during operation is lower than that of oil-immersed transformers, but their noise still needs to meet relevant standards.
Prevent humidity and dust pollution: Since the insulation and cooling medium of dry-type transformers is dry air, they are particularly suitable for some flammable and explosive occasions, such as underground railways.
Good short-circuit resistance: As an important supporting equipment of the power system, dry-type transformers have very high requirements for their ability to withstand short-circuit current.
Reliable maintenance and management: The maintenance and management of dry-type transformers are simpler than those of oil-immersed transformers, but they also require regular maintenance and inspection to ensure their normal operation.
In short, dry-type transformers are a very important type of equipment in modern power systems, and their technical parameters and requirements are of great significance to ensuring their normal operation and reliability. In the future, with the continuous development of science and technology, dry-type transformers will be more widely used.
